(Toronto, Canada, March 8, 2017) – Blue Ant International, a division of Blue Ant Media and leaders in global content distribution, announced today the appointment of Nick Solowski to the role of Director, International Sales and Acquisitions. Operating out of the distribution group’s Toronto office, Solowski will be responsible for licensing Blue Ant International’s catalog of premium content across Canada, U.S.-Hispanic, LATAM, Iberia, Australia, New Zealand and Ancillary.

Solowski arrives at Blue Ant International from Tricon Films & Television, where he served as Senior Director, International Sales and Acquisitions. In this role, he managed the distribution of the company’s catalog worldwide. Solowski previous roles also include leadership positions at Spafax Canada and Alliance Atlantis.
Coinciding with this news, Kate Blank has been promoted to Senior Director, International Sales. Blank will continue to oversee content licensing across France, Asia, German-speaking Europe and Eastern Europe.
The expanded sales team will represent Blue Ant International’s latest offering at MIPTV 2017.
