(Toronto, ON, December 5, 2016) – Blue Ant Media announced today that it has entered into a new strategic relationship with Quebec-based premium publisher Oboxmedia. Blue Ant Media will represent and manage advertising sales for Oboxmedia’s network and its portfolio of brands nationally. The addition of Oboxmedia’s publishers boosts Blue Ant Media’s reach to over 13 million unduplicated monthly unique visitors*. The strategic alliance gives the company direct access to 44% of Canada’s digital audience and positions it among the country’s largest digital media companies. 

Oboxmedia’s portfolio includes some of the world’s most visited platforms, including massive multi-player gaming leader Roblox as well as Rovio Entertainment’s prestigious portfolio of Angry Birds apps. The network of sites and apps dramatically expands Blue Ant Media’s existing gaming network, which now delivers a combined number of 6 million monthly Canadian views across desktop, mobile and YouTube, many in the highly coveted 18 to 34 demographic. The deal also positions the company as the #1 platform to reach kids under 18 on desktop. 

As part of the agreement, Blue Ant Media will represent Oboxmedia’s French inventory in English Canada, which reaches over 64% of Quebec’s digital audience through Oboxmedia’s eight owned and operated publications including Nightlife.ca, HollywoodPQ and Ton Petit Look, as well as more than 30 popular French publications including Trois fois par jour, Le Cahier and Pratico-Pratiques.
